It seems in this day and age, with some obvious exceptions, that the American public is becoming more and more out of touch with deepr thoughts when it comes to movies. What I mean by that it is you see all of these "blockbusters" with their previews being aired on television every 30 seconds, which tell the whole movies story with no imagination, and we are expected to just EAT IT UP. Whatever hapened to the thoughful thrillers, the thought invoking dramas, the low budget art pieces.
These movie execs need to realize that we really aren't as dumb as we seem, well most of us, and we want to actually have to THINK about what we are watching. Stop dumbing us down and feeding us eye candy please! Just give me something life altering, and I know thats alot to ask but you shouldnt be in the business if you don't know the trade.
Where did the art in movies go?

I am honored that you like my work to that degree! I would be more than happy for you to use my picture!
Just so long as if you were to use the new appropriated piece anywhere you would say something like appropriated from original photograph by Kimberley Mennen and if possible I would like to see the new pieces you produce, in time, that would be very nice.
my email is mennenkj@bigpond.com if you have any questions
Thanks
-Kim
